I've finished both AS and A2 papers for my a-levels in November 2008. And i got the results last week xD

With at least 2 principle passes, means I can do my degree ~ wohoooo~
Most likely to stay at KDU for degree.

She will be leaving to Australia super soon.

A little update abt myself:

I've just graduated from a-levels !!

My degree intake will be in March 2009, so I'm damne free now~

Pls ask me out when YOU (person viewing my blog) are free =), otherwise I'll be super bored.

At the moment, I'm :
(1) Working at Enopi Teaching Centre (1 Utama) - Monday, Thursday, Friday
(2) still running KDU Leo Club (just to emphasize, I'm not a Leo freak =D but i like leo )
(3) waiting to go YES Camp
c'mon ppl yell with me ''WoHOOOOOOOOOO''
(4) waiting some people to finish their exams xD

Mid-term exam~

law exam paper 1.

6 essays choose 3. Answer in 1 hour and 30minutes.
U-know-me always predict questions and limit my scope of study in spm~
*To those-who-dont-know-me : chances of wtv i predict to come out during spm was like 5%*

This time a-levels exam ledi, my instinct tells me to trust it. lol. Study only wtv i predict since i got no time.

Luckily 2 topics which I predicted came out~ wo hooooo... 2/6 x 100% = 33.33%

*fast foward - this scene not nice to describe, too kiasu*

*Finish writing answering the 3rd essay, preparing to write my name and student ID*

Actually by that time i finish writing my essays, its just the right time for our papers to be collected. 1.08pm - 2.38pm

But dun noe why our lecturer extended the time to 2.45pm.

At 2.40pm, my hp rang, so i picked up *forgot i'm still in the examination venue*
It was my dad who called to ask me wht i want to eat =.=
Haiz~ it was involuntarily that i picked up the call

Luckily never get barred frm exam><

Points supporting Joshua :
1) If my lecturer follows the actual exam time, i would have ter-answered the call outside the examination venue.
2) My lecturer extended 15 minutes for us cos all of us were late (including the lecturer). But by right, he should only extend 8 minutes and not 15minutes. So, its not my fault for answering the call accidentally.
3) He did not give a word of caution asking us to switch off our mobile phones.

Points not supporting me :( :
1) Dun care whether extend the time wrongly or what, u still cant answer call during the examination.
2) Sit for so many exams ledi, still dun know need to switch off handphone ar?
3) Who ask u involuntarily answer the call.

End up got scolded by my lecturer.

Leo Installation Meeting

From Kelana Jaya to Taman Jaya. Geng le, sit train alone for the first time! hahahaThis kind of machine is very complicated. Put card to enter must remember to take the card back after that =.=. I put the card in, enter, and run straight. Cos promised to meet lion chu at Taman Jaya, opposite A&W in 10 minutes time. Damn rushing. Then suddenly heard sum1 shouting behind me. I looked back and realised i'm suppose to take the ticket back. XD lol
wo hooo~ my journey of a thousand miles begin now~
Reach Taman Jaya ledi without much difficulties~ take photos for memories. Pai seh 168 IQ Mensa Student wont get lost. HOHOHOHOHO
wo hooo~ i found A&W (being directed by a st.john member at Taman Jaya station.lol). So now i have to find where is ''opposite A&W'' to wait for lion Chu. What a difficult task! cos i dun see anywhere suitable to go. All oso sunny, hot spots and carparks =.=.

Dun get wht lion Chu meant by ''opposite A&W'' . Does it mean wait him at outside of Amcorp Mall or just stand infront of A&W? So i just stand next to a stranger who seem to be waiting for sum1 also. i Standing sumwhere here ^ lol.

After 1~2 minutes, Lion Chu arrived and fetch me to SBS Academy.

During the meeting, i was tryin to get some easy post for the joint installation event =(, so i ask for ushering post. Zzz~ But my request is not approved by ahem ahem. So i'm holding Backrop and Decoration post. Haiz, i not creative oso get this post. Worst, the 2nd post i'm holding is PA System manager?-.- i dun understand PA stuff but will have assistance from a technician i hope. lolz. nvm worry abt it during joint installation.

Sum1 asked me to suggest wht theme we shud put for this year joint installation. So happen ''Make my day'' is my blog name, so i suggested the theme to be MAKE ''THEIR'' DAY. ''Their'' means the people we serve as a leo.

After meeting, we go makan in some kopitiam
And there's a mini fountain outside the kopitiam. And i saw tortoise tan floating.Haiz, tragedy. I wanted to order ''yong tau fuu''. Din realised the stall i walked to is actually ''penang lobak''and not ''yong tau fuu'', the untie already ask me wht i wan to eat. Got 1 kinda down-sydrome boy there. SO no choice=.=. i terpaksa makan penang lobak. i ordered 4 long rolls of dun noe wht and 2 fishballs. Guess how much it costs? RM 10!!! Increase in petrol price really got big impact on penang lobak business~

From 5/06/08 till 7/06/08 in johor. same hotel like last 2 years (2006)

ahem, first let me summarise all my tragedies in this year's leo forum xD
Before that~ let me introduce to you my dearest member - chia yoon jien (A)- a.k.a. jay chou.

First day- A before going to our dinner, ''Horror nite'', wants to bathe. Before he do so, he put all his valuables ie hp, camera and wallet in the security box. Without trying or testing it first, straight away use ledi. Therefore/hence/thus, problemSzZsZ arised =.=''...

A : josh-hua josh-hua why kenot open wan ar this box?
me: i dun noe? is ur pin number correct?
A : Its correct. but kenot open lah. how?
me: '*trying to get some sleep before the dinnerT_T* er...try call the room service.
A : Wht is room service? What number? how to call?
me : Zzz~ in the directory. Every hotel room's phone sure got wan. Go check.
A : Is it no.3?
me : Yess ( Zzz~!)

As the theme for the dinner is horror nite, so every1 dressed up like ghost. Mr.A pulak wear smart casual+ his 24hours brown jacket. Me pulak wear Formal. damn sakai xD lolz
Every1 dress up like ghost, but both of us like so out of the theme.

After dinner, we had footloose, which is not so fun as compared to last 2 years.
Because:
1) Teresa chong and li may are not there for me to turn them around.
(Sharon very hard to turn wan. like ''ter-paku'' on the floor ledi xD )
2) they form a CIRCLE and only 1 or 2 ppl dance in the CIRCLE only. So Boring rite. So the SMKDU and KDU leos have to break the circle and let ppl BOO and end up the circle is broken~
oh yeah~

during footloose, Mr.A is not high yet.

Ard 12 sumthing midnight, Mr.A return to hotel room. And changed to bear bear silky pjyamas outfit. Unbuttoned till tummy there. With his brown jacket and sumthing like a sunglasses.
Run around the hotel. As the theme for tonight is ''horror nite'', wht would u imagine if suddenly u saw Mr.A running round and round the hotel? LolZ

Alot by-standers laugh of course. and Mr.A dun noe why ppl laugh and ask me why they did so.
Without much ''brainstorming'' i said ''sure la, u so leng chai, ppl jealous ma''.
However, to my surprise, he believes it.

About an hour later, my ocean buddy - Teresa yee lai mei a.k.a octopus lady- come to my room with 2 big packets of noodles. Me and octopus lady share 1 packet of noodle. There is 1 packet left. So i asked Mr.A if he wants to makan.

After eating, me and another 2 members of mine was discussing how to sleep with only 2 single beds. Then i suggested that we decide by ''lat ta li lat ta li tam pum''
Following are my suggestions:
First winner = grand prize = full set of bed = both soft,comfortable bedsheet and hard wooden block
Second runner up = Soft bedsheet
Loser = Hard wooden block

So we started LAT TA LI LAT TA LI TAM PUM! Mr.A was very slow, so he have to do it again-.-
LAT TA LI LAT TA LI TAM PUM! the grand prize goes to vincent~
Scissors, paper, stone ! the second prize goes to mr.A
T_T means i sleep on the wooden block

He only start to eat the noodles ard 3am when every1 is sleeping alr. U may wonder why i know whts the time he is eating. ITS SIMPLY BECAUSE,lol, i heard him singing=.=. and therefore/hence/thus, i woke up for awhile.

My tummy is damn full. With noodles and oreo biscuits in my tummy. Ard 7am i dreamt of running into a public toilet and vomit in 2 basins. ( both basins full of my, ahem.)

I feel damn sam fu and faster wake up and run to the toilet. I thought i gonna vomit. But that feeling of vommiting is going away eventually. As i return to my bed for more rest, i SAW a half-finished noodles left RIGHT infront of my bed. Smelly. No wonder i dreamt of vommiting. I just dun understand why he cant throw the noodles if he cant finish them. Is he waiting for cockroaches to help him?

2nd day, ard 7 sumthing am. I slept back after the ''vommit incident'' and got woken up again. BY mr.A's singings. He sang some kung-fu show's cantonese songs and cai hong+qi li xiang by jay chou. He sing half the song ledi only ppl can guess wht song he is singing. So imagine how he sang.
Every morning, i dun need morning call or alarm clock oso can wake up. Thanks to my kind member who dream of becoming both vocalist and lawyer. and i slept like only 3 hours at most. -.-

With headache and hungry tummy(every morning oso i will have hungry tummy), i go and have my breakfast with fong jia yi and teresa yee.

*fast forward*

During the talk conducted by mr.Gary, there was a game. And my treasurer won first in that game. So, Kdu PJ leos was very proud xD. But not even 5 minutes, theres an announcement regarding the forum's nametag:

''CHIA YOON JIEN FROM KDU PJ, PLS COLLECT UR NAMETAG. and PPL DUN LEAVE UR NAMETAG AND PONTENG THE TALK''

zzz, its like 5 minutes of fame and 5 minutes of humiliation for leo club of KDU PJ.

i dun understand why he need to ponteng the talk when he is actually doing nothing.
He just pose right opposite the lift, with his brown jacket and sunglasses for like 30 minutes?
and he din plan to use the lift -.-

Then, we r preparing for the nite's dinner ''Glamourous''.
I believed most of us would wear formal, so i wore formal too.
Mr.A did wear formal BUT with his brown jacket.

30 minutes dinner, he inform me that he wan to go to gym and body msg before dinner.
so i said ''u may go but pls dun be late for dinner''
u guess wht he is wearing to gym.
formal clothes + leather shoe. Unbuttoned quite alot. -.-'' yeng la yeng la

*fast forward*
we got hamper party at midnight after footloose. And we saw the worst out of the WORST.
he only got ''high high'' after the footloose, whilst every1 was damn tired.
But Mr.A go to toilet.
and all heard ''PLANGGGGGG''
he broke a glass
and he came out almost half-naked. unbuttoned till tummy there. and looks very high
and he on his musics ( those he sang himself and recorded). lol. go high high

ignore ba, let him shiok sendiri.

Before i forgot, he lost his IC in the 2nd day. And almost caused me troubles. He brought in security Guard to spot-check the room. I got beers in my luggage bag. If Lions found out, i sure die la. But sumhow i manage to prevent the security guard to do his spot-check.

3rd day - continue his ic problem. And he run ard the hotel like got 100 meetings and businesses to run. lolz. i din really observe~ damn tired! last day of leo forum.

on the way home~ we've got brown jacket version of jay chou to sing for us.
Me and cherrie gave him courage to sing by saying ''dun worrie~ we help u with the chorus part''
But actually we didnt and we keep taking pic of him . hehehehe

And i kena sing Tong hua-every year oso like that - X.x
But luckily~ sing 2 lines only~ got ppl call me~ so i dun need sing ledi~ wo hoooooooo

All in all, This year's forum is one that is unforgettable,unimaginable, damn tiring and sam fu But super funny. Can laugh until non-stop and tummy get pain xD lol

30/05/08 friday~ i've decided instead of playing games whole day, i try out being a ''teacher'' for 6 hours xD (friday and sat is my game day xD )

2.30pm go to Enopi teaching centre in 1 Utama, outside parkson 2nd floor to see the untie boss who like to bully ppl's salary xD...if u talk to her with soft voice, she sure pay u rm4.50 or rm5 per hour only. lolz But i get rm6 hehehe, u can imagine how i deal with her

The untie boss ask me to work straight away, but i say 3pm only start work cos:
1) no extra pay for working extra 20 minutes
2) have to chill first before i face a bunch of tadika kids
3) haven take off retainer to teach xD (with retainer, tongue cant move fully)

2.54pm -> i start working~ just randomly pick a small boy/girl to sit with and wait 10 minutes to pass before i move to the next student. The first student i sit with, is damn ego and smart=.=, makes my job so boring.

i ask him ''boy boy got any question? u can do ar?''
he just say ''mm'' (means yes)

then i move to a small girl girl who looked soooo troubled and confused.
she having problem to answer a IQ question, so i ask her:
''girl girl need help? cant do?''
she say ''ya'' and look so cute, of course i explain to her rite.

Half way shock-sendiri, then my boss say ''hey! she having test, kenot teaCH HER''

Lolzzz, the small girl shud tell me she's havin test ma...hahaha

Then my old untie boss ask me to mark bookz instead of teaching X_____X

Damn demotivating, i sit on a table with abt 200 books to mark ( critical thinking maths and basic thinking maths book)

first 30 over books, i damn ber-semangat to mark, cos long time no touch maths ledi, so very excited when i mark the book..hahaha...i work out the answer myself and mark, but very easy job wan..cos calculator next to me..and most of the questions dun even need calculator.

but i start to feel my eyes dizzy @@ , then only my boss tell me
''hey, just to tell u got answer booklets here ar...easier to mark''

ish..dun say earlier -.-

but the job not boring xD, i motivate myself-> each 50 books marked i gonna say i go to toilet then come back in 15~30 minutes time

As my table is near the entrance, so i'm actually the nearest ''teacher'' to the spot where the kids are waiting for their parents to get them. Got 4 kids there, 3 with Gameboy and are playing the same game-pokemon ( i recognise the music background) and 1 without gameboy. Kids ma...the boy without gameboy sure go close to the 3kids to see them play...then i hear

finally, my 14 months old braces had been taken off~ wo hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo~

After take off braces, =.=, the dentist like more excited than me, rush to a store room in the clinic to get his camera.

*flash* front view, *flash* side view of my mouth and finally *FLASH* my whole face. hahaha
(the pics are used to show before/after me doing braces)

the first thing i do after my braces is removed, is of course, test my pronunciation xD..lol

Cny~!!

i go bek ipoh to celebrate cny with my relatives xD....haha...becos i was watching drama, so i was rushing to pack my stuff that i need to bring beck to ipoh at 3.30pm and my parents want to leave at 4.00pm... Can u imagine howwww stress and rushy i was that time?!?! hahaha

End up i manage to kau tim packing my clothes and cny homeworks and also transfer my tortoise into the ''travelling tank'' at 4.15pm xD....i brought everything including my toothbrush, shaver, laptop, gambling cards this and that but i forgot to bring the most important thing~!! MY UNDERWEAR~!! i just realised this when i wan to bathe in ipoh...@#%$@%(^@$@

Luckily some shops in jusco,ipoh is open on that day....Relieved, i got myself a box of underwear xD... hahahaha

Maybe buying underwear during cny had caused me bad luck-.-....i lost in almost all the gamble on the day i shop for my underwear~!! hahaha...or maybe i'm noob in gambling xD

My routine during cny:
Eat-> Sleep-> Gamble -> collect ang pau -> Eat -> Play -> gamble -> watch tv-> Eat-> repeat and repeat again

i just realised for each chapter of history i need to buy 1 textbook...got around 6 chapters...means i need to buy 6 textbooks? Haihhhhhhh -.-....can finish reading 6 textbooks in one yeAr time mehhhh.... and thats only for Paper 1 and Paper 2 of History...

For Paper 3 history(thought by Mr.Law) need another textbook(around 650 pages)...arghhhhhhhhhh....how to finish reading 7 textbooks in one year time~!! crazy man... Law subject oso not so crazyyyyyy.

MAybe the next time u all see me i'll be wearing THICK spects ledi =(...

And i just started my first REAL lesson of History Paper1 and paper 2(ms.Sathya)...alot notes to copy....and Ms.Sathya asked us today whether is she going too fast ?

EVERYONE Kept Quiet...except 1 girl..she asked Ms.Sathya to go FASTER...lol...she makes life more challanging and crazier~!!

this is really a trip i'll never forget....torturing....going genting without a jacket ~!! just a normal T-shirt... super colD~!!

every1 brought jacket except me and sum1-.-.....

This sum1 told me that going genting is just like our normal outing in ou..(this sum1 summore can eat ice-cream in genting ~!!)

So i thought just wear a T-shirt ... no nid wear thick clothes...MANA TAU...genting DAMN COLD....hahaha... to fight with the cold...i put both my hands in the pockets xD...luckily it works~!! and i get to tahan for 6 hours i think...haha...

Thinking back...its gud to be abit blurr sumtimes xD....i forgot abt the coldness as i get too excited to paddle the boat and play the sg.rajang ride...lol.... but after the sg.rajang ride, i get back to my senses...damn shit cold ~!!

in the bus..on the way to genting ( after alot of confusement and argument xD )

But got 1 conversation still remains vividly etched in my memories...hahaha

Got 1 old man tell alvin that he shud let old ppl sit nice place and younger ppl shud sit at less comfortable places...(that old man say in chinese)

I was there... i understand wht that old man says but i din realise his was talking to alvin until alvin answered him :
''bu yong jin'' - means nevermind.LOL. HE dun understand wht the old man was talkin to him and simply replied him summore ~!! hahahahaha

Then the old man thought we din respect and scolded us:
''Nowadays young ppl have no respect for the elders'' - that old man said this in chinese xD

And alvin still wan to answer him '' bu yong jin...bu yong jin'' ...Lol...luckily that old man din kena heart attack~!!

After a while, we ingored him and played cards...until some disturbances arrived...haha

We saw Great Pearl (Pearl's grandmother)that day oso...LOL...she's going genting too...i wonder why ~!! hahahahaha

And there's another weird conversation i rmb that day... :
There is 1 old untie sitting next to limay in the bus to genting...to make my explanation simple...lets name this old untie as COOL.

COOL was commenting about kijun's hair colour...she say all the negative stuff ...haha...(COOL is not so open-minded)

=) but she din say bad stuff about my hair colour...though i was next to kijun that time (maybe cuz i'm just too polite and humble XD)

Then suddenly she say EPK's hair like PADDY FIELD... lol...First time i hear such a weird comment ... and from an old lady summore ~!! hahaha...ppl usually say looks like porcupine...but COOL say looks like PADDY FIELD ~!! Nowadays, old unties are getting more and more creative i think....lol ( the picture of COOL can be found below xD )

Inside the bus heading to genting...that stupid fellow spoke to us with very broken chinese or english...hahaha...i forgot wht language he used...but i remember he talks very sohai-ly...hahahaha....feel like shutting his mouth that time~!!

i think this ride is called DUMBO... super COLD...hahaha...very windy as it movessss

this ride is called PADDLE BOAT i think... me,alvin ,joshua chan , sharon , ting yee , li may , samantha chin and ee peng khuan (EPK) was there that time..

While we lined up and wait for our turn to ride the paddle boat....sum1 suggested that we separate ourselves into 4 teams...we separate ourselves into 4 teams by using the '' chii kuuu pakkk'' technique...hahahaha...

If u notice the small bridge in the picture bellow...our aim of this ''team stuff'' is actually to race 1 round passing through the bridge and return back to our startin point...

But we seem to forgot our real motive when we start to paddle our boat...we simply BANG at each other's boat...hahahaha... but theres 1 team that still stick on our aim..which is SHARON AND JOSHUA CHAN's team...lol

AND shaRon was very competitive that time...she keep telling joshua chan to TURBO TURBO....until joshua chan get exhausted...and leg cramp then faint

Luckily EPK was there to hold him from falling..haha...

Among us that time...there is only 1 st.john member -.-... we all asked for his help to save joshua chan...haha...but he got no idea of wht to do and only said:
''Situation like this , we all shud relax''

very helpful indeed -.-..lol...i think u all shud know who this person is (starts with ''A'')

Abt 10 mins later...joshua chan got better and we all played sg.Rajang together...

i Got wet...and when wind blows towards me...its SUPER COLD~!!

my advice to super tall ppl (like me xD pai seh pai seh )who wants to ride spinner : dun turn turn ur seat be4 the spinner starts...hahaha...if not...u will really SPIN later...very terrifying,.lol

the days of year 2007

This is the most fun year i had in SMK DU...but its also a very tiring year~!! I've 2~3 tuitions a day...extra classes... go TTDI library to study (2~3 months before SPM)...

Since January 2007 , i've always wanted kau tim my SPM as soon as possible and start to party everyday before i start my college.. but in October, i start to worry as time is really passing very fast ~!! i wan to continue to stay in library and study with my frens ~!! haha...i miss those moments... study study study then go lunch then study then go tea time then go tuition XD...
I always tell ppl i'll reach the library at 8.59am (library opens at 9.00am) but usually i arrive at the library around 10 sumthing xD...Basically its more of chit-chatting than studying in the library~!! Its an experience filled with joy, willingness to help others and abit of sorrow....pai seh pai seh....xD

These are the few ppl i go library with :
Alvin Lim - this fellow ...if u sit next to him...u can hardly study 2~3 pages a day ..hahahaha ...talk talk talk non-stop...and he kenot sit still and study.

Stefanie Lee - She is smarter than she looks xD... Phy Paper 2 can get 89% ~!! this is crazy ~!! hahahaha.... very kind to teach me chem , phy and add maths(this wan i copy)... But sumtimes she also ask me chem questions...haha..and by the time i get to answer her , she figure out the answer ledi..

Limay , Mei-yan and Sam - This Trio can never sit next to each other in the library ~!! If they DO , They will only chit-chat and gossip...never concentrate ~!! hahahaha

Ellen - This specky leng lui...super smart oso...always call me blurr =(....hahaha

Kijun - This 1 can never study without music....talks as he studies...haha..sumtimes even sing~!!

ShaRon -( pai seh...forgot abt u...lol )... this clumsy girl...can study whole form 4 and form 5 bio in just an hour time ~!! (cuz she skip wtv she dun understand) . She oso talks alot in the library ...very noisy until the workers there have to ''shuuuuuuuuuuuuuu~!!'' her... hahahaha

And my last day in library , Dec 2007 , i've been a very very brave boy...but still its very saddening.. i think only 4 of us know about this...hahaha
